Participation of the College of Engineering in the opening of the eighth technological incubator of the Ministry of Industry

Representatives of the College of Engineering at the University of Kirkuk participated in the opening of the eighth technological incubator in the Kirkuk branch of the Ministry of Industry, where the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Hussein Hamad, and Dr. Abdel-Baqi Muhammad Khader, representing the Mechanical Engineering Department, were present.
The technology incubator is considered one of the development units in the Ministry of Industry. It aims to attract graduates to develop and support their projects, provide job opportunities for young people, and facilitate loans and raw materials to establish industrial projects. The incubator administration praised the continuous support it received from Kirkuk University and the College of Engineering.
During the inauguration of the eighth technological incubator in the Kirkuk branch, the Assistant Dean and Dr. Abdul Baqi Muhammad Khader stressed the importance of the role of technological incubators in supporting entrepreneurs and encouraging them to transform their ideas into sustainable projects.
This step is part of the government's efforts to strengthen the industrial sector and encourage entrepreneurship, which contributes to strengthening the local economy and creating job opportunities for youth.
The management of the technology incubator expressed its thanks and gratitude for the continuous support it received from Kirkuk University and the College of Engineering, stressing the importance of continued cooperation between the university, the local government, and the industrial sector to achieve sustainable development.
