Discussion of a master’s thesis at the College of Science in Kirkuk
Today, Thursday, February 8, 2024, the College of Engineering witnessed a scientific discussion in the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering in Kirkuk for the master’s thesis tagged:
(Performance of completely thin powder concrete under uniform impact and temperature)
By the researcher (Wael Rami Rafael) and under the supervision of A.M.D. Ali Ihsan Saladin.
The message stopped concrete contributions from powders, but thin, exposed to eccentric compressive force, causing a torque of one Newton, and at the same time exposed to temperatures, to choose freedom of trade while not only allowed.
A total of fifteen models of powder concrete columns were taken. These columns had dimensions of 150 x 150 x 1600 mm, with a protrusion at both ends of the column measuring 250 x 150 mm only to shed decentralized service light (60% of the maximum load).
The farmers' choice was hostile to the resistance of these columns. In particular, the effect of the eccentric value of the applied load, which shows 3 groups, namely 50, 100 and 150 mm.
Results that will be obtained through the link
Specific and important nominations have been proposed regarding the factors influencing a prominent column for powder concrete. It was benefited that the lateral deformation of the different issues (bucket) is greater in relation to the loads, taking into account that the value is eccentric compared to the models in which the eccentricity values were high, but with a lower applied load. It also confirms the failure of links that were loaded with high load values that were reported before the end of the loading period (less than one hour), on the link, only links with neglect (a value with a high eccentricity value) that are structurally controlled by ductility, which leads to an increase in time for these links.
The discussion committee consisted of:
