Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Chelang Akram Omar, and in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, the Chemical Engineering Department organized a scientific seminar for third-stage students titled: "Utilizing Modern Technologies in Developing Student Skills." This initiative is part of the college's efforts to enhance students' capabilities and keep pace with rapid technological developments.
The seminar was presented by the Scientific Assistant, Dr. Abdulmajeed Abdulhamid Mohammed, who reviewed the importance of employing modern technologies—including advanced engineering software, e-learning, and artificial intelligence techniques—in developing students' academic and practical skills to prepare them efficiently for the labor market.
The seminar also addressed the role of students in effectively investing in these tools, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and self-skill development to meet contemporary requirements and the rapid advancements across various fields.
