A lecturer at the College of Education for Human Sciences, Dr. Shalal Awad Salim Al-Ubaidi, participated in the discussion of the Higher Diploma in Human Rights research entitled (The Right to Work Remotely in the Public Service, a Comparative Study) by researcher Firas Abdul Qader Ghanem on 8/12/2024 in the hall of the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk.
The research dealt with the importance of remote work and the urgent need for it in the modern era, as it allows employees to perform their tasks from anywhere without the need to be present at the workplace, which achieves greater flexibility and increases productivity. However, it is important that the employee who works remotely enjoys his full rights, including providing an appropriate work environment and continuous technical support. It is also necessary to ensure a balance between personal and professional life, and to set clear working hours to avoid fatigue, during crises such as the Corona pandemic, as remote work has emerged as a basic solution for business continuity, which enhances its importance as a sustainable option for the future.
