A lecturer from the College of Education for Humanities participates in the discussion of a doctoral thesis

The lecturer in the Department of Kurdish Language, Dr. Sabah Musa Ali, participated in the discussion of the doctoral thesis entitled (The source in the Kurdish language between traditional grammar and modern grammar) for the student Kamal Muhammad Omar at the University of Salah al-Din in Erbil Governorate.

The thesis dealt in the first and second chapters with the definition of the term source linguistically and how the source is derived in the Kurdish language compared to the Arabic and English languages.

The researcher explained in the first and second chapters how the word is derived from the source and that the source is the basis and vital engine in enriching the language and multiplying words.

In the third chapter, the researcher addressed the most important theories and modern opinions in the derivation of words and the importance of the source in enriching the language.
