A scientific symposium on Kurdish literature that includes nostalgia and nationalist concepts in it

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohieddin, the Continuing Education Division organized on 2/25/2024 a distinguished scientific symposium entitled (National Concepts and Nostalgia in Kurdish Literature), which was delivered by A.M. Beston Adel Ali and A.M. Izz al-Din Saber Muhammad and A. M. Hassan Ali Omar. The symposium included many pioneering academic professors and graduate and undergraduate students. The importance of nationalistic factors and nostalgia in Kurdish literature was reviewed and discussed, and their repercussions on the cultural and literary heritage of the Kurdish people. It also discussed the impact of national factors and identity. In the formation of Kurdish literature and its various models throughout the ages, it also touched on the use of writers and poets of various literary styles to express nostalgia and national identity, and how these factors are related to the history of the Kurdish people, their experience, and their national spirit. This scientific symposium is an important opportunity for researchers, academics, and graduate students in the department. To discuss and study the concepts of nationalism and nostalgia in Kurdish literature in a comprehensive and in-depth manner, as it contributes to enriching literary studies of the Kurdish language and Kurdish culture in general.
