Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education organizes a Quran Recitation Competition

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education organized the "College Reader" competition for Quran recitation with the participation of a group of distinguished students in the art of recitation and intonation. This comes within the framework of enhancing interest in the Holy Quran and mastering its recitation according to the correct rules. The competition witnessed strong competition between the students who presented sweet and perfect recitations. Their performance was evaluated by a specialized jury in the science of intonation and Quranic sciences, which focused in its evaluation on the beauty of the voice, controlling the rules of intonation, mastering the exits of letters, and good stopping and starting. The Dean stressed that such activities contribute to enhancing Quranic culture and developing students' skills in recitation and intonation, stressing the importance of continuing to support such activities because of their great impact in consolidating Islamic values ​​among students.

The winners will be honored in a special event to be organized later and will be given gifts in appreciation of their level and efforts in mastering the recitation of the Holy Quran.
