Enhancing Effective Communication Skills and a Training Course for Application Students

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, held a specialized training course entitled "Effective Communication with Counselors During the Application Period" with the aim of developing the skills of the application students and enhancing their abilities to build influential communication relationships with students in schools. The course covered multiple axes, including the foundations of effective communication, active listening skills, techniques for dealing with behavioral problems, and methods for building an interactive environment that stimulates learning. The course also included practical training sessions during which participants presented practical exercises on how to deal with different classroom situations in advanced scientific and educational ways.

The Dean stressed the importance of developing communication skills among the application students, noting that success in the educational process is not limited to transferring knowledge only, but extends to include the ability to build positive relationships with students that contribute to guiding them and enhancing their academic achievement. He also stressed the need to invest such courses in improving educational performance, which will positively reflect on the future of students and their teaching skills.
