Guidance lectures for first-year students in the College of Education for Humanities

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a series of guidance lectures for first-year students in the departments of English, Quranic Sciences, Islamic Education, Arabic Language and Geography with the aim of guiding students and introducing them to the college's orientations and the foundations of academic and administrative discipline. The lectures focused on a number of basic axes, including the importance of adhering to university regulations and instructions, attending lectures regularly, and ensuring positive interaction with subject professors and study colleagues. The lectures also included guidance on how to make the best use of educational resources and libraries available in the college and the importance of scientific research in developing students' thinking and critical thinking skills.

 The lecture was for students of the English Department on the importance of language as a means of global communication and encouraging them to develop their language skills through extracurricular activities such as reading literary texts and participating in seminars and workshops. As for the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, the focus was on Islamic values ​​and the importance of ethics in the life of the university student, in addition to the importance of studying Quranic sciences as an essential part of Islamic and societal culture. In the Department of Arabic Language, the importance of the Arabic language as a language of identity and culture was pointed out, and professors called on students to delve into the study of literary and linguistic texts to enhance their skills in expression and writing. As for the Department of Geography, students were directed towards the importance of studying geography in understanding spatial and environmental relationships and their impact on solving global issues such as climate change and natural resources. 

His Excellency the Dean stressed that the college will continue to support them throughout their studies and will work to provide an educational environment that encourages creativity and excellence. He also called on students to adhere to university values ​​and work in a team spirit to enhance the college's position as a distinguished scientific edifice.
