Micro-teaching lecture to enhance students' teaching skills

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences organized a micro-teaching activity presented by one of the department's students in front of his colleagues, as part of the department's plan to enhance students' teaching skills and develop their educational capabilities. The lecture was opened with a speech by the professor of the subject, who explained the importance of micro-teaching as one of the effective practical training methods that allows the student the opportunity to experience teaching skills directly and interact with colleagues in a directed educational environment. He stressed that micro-teaching is an opportunity for students to analyze their performance, identify strengths and weaknesses, and gain confidence in standing in front of an audience. The student who presented the lecture discussed the concept of human personality and reviewed the most important psychological theories that explained the construction and development of personality, such as analytical theory, behavioral theory, and human theory. The lecture was distinguished by the use of innovative scientific methods and a distinctive presentation style for the subject, as the student was able to link theories to daily situations to facilitate understanding and clarify the idea.

 For his part, His Excellency the Dean stressed the importance of practical educational activities in enhancing students' capabilities, pointing out that the subject of human character is of great importance in the field of education and teaching. He praised the role of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in preparing students to become distinguished teachers capable of contributing to the development of the educational process and serving the community.
