Guidance Lectures for First-Year Students on Academic Orientations and Discipline

Under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Farhad Aziz Muhyiddin, Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the college organized a series of guidance lectures for first-year students in the departments of Kurdish Language, Turkish Language, Educational and Psychological Sciences. This initiative came within the framework of the college's keenness to introduce new students to the college's vision and academic and behavioral goals, while enhancing their spirit of discipline and commitment from the beginning of their university career. In the Kurdish Language Department, the focus was on the importance of preserving the Kurdish language and heritage, highlighting the role played by the Kurdish Language Department in strengthening cultural identity. The lecture included fruitful discussions between students and professors on how to develop language skills and interact with Kurdish literature in innovative ways. As for the Turkish Language Department, the lecture addressed the importance of learning the Turkish language as a global language that carries within it a rich heritage and a distinctive culture. Guidance was also provided on how to develop Turkish language skills by taking advantage of the academic resources available in the college and engaging in student activities to enhance linguistic and cultural capabilities. In the Educational Sciences Department The lecture focused on the importance of the educational and psychological aspect in preparing competent teachers and highlighted the importance of the student's role as a future teacher, noting the importance of adhering to educational and ethical values ​​and keenness to develop personal and professional skills that qualify him to bear the responsibility of education.

His Excellency the Dean pointed out that the guidance lectures reflect the vision of the College of Education for Humanities in building an integrated educational environment that focuses on developing students academically and ethically, which contributes to preparing an aware and educated generation capable of facing the challenges of the future.
