A Master's Thesis in the Department of Arabic Language Discusses the Book of Al-Waraqa by Ibn Al-Jarrah

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the Master's thesis entitled (The Book of Al-Waraqa by Ibn Al-Jarrah "d. 296 AH" A Study in Biographies and Poetry) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language by the student Awat Ihsan Ezz El-Din and in the college hall on 10-21-2024.

The study examined aspects of biography such as the social, psychological, formal and intellectual dimensions of a number of obscure and famous Abbasid poets, while their most prominent poetic purposes were satire, wisdom, elegy, love, description and wine poems. The study shed light on the rhythmic aspects and linguistic and rhetorical styles.

The discussion committee consisted of the teaching staff. .
