In the presence of the university president, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the master's thesis entitled (The effect of a guidance program using the modeling method in reducing psychological exhaustion among first grade teachers) was discussed in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences for the student Ali Hamid Khalaf and in the college hall on 10-13-2024.
The thesis aimed to identify the effect of the guidance program by testing the following hypotheses.
1- There are no statistically significant differences between the ranks of the experimental group on the psychological exhaustion scale before and after applying the guidance program.
2- There are no statistically significant differences between the ranks of the control group in the pre-test and post-test on the psychological exhaustion scale.
3- There are no statistically significant differences between the scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-test on the psychological exhaustion scale. The researcher prepared the psychological exhaustion scale and extracted the psychometric properties represented by validity and reliability, and applied it to an experimental and control sample of 20 teachers from the first grades in Al-Hawija District, Al-Zab District, with 10 experimental and 10 control. The results indicated that the program had an effect in reducing psychological exhaustion among teachers of the first grades among the members of the experimental group. The results also showed that there were no differences between the pre-test and post-test for the members of the control group. The study also reached a set of recommendations and proposals.
