In an atmosphere of joy and happiness, the College of Education for Humanities at Kirkuk University celebrated today the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in a central celebration held in the college hall. The ceremony witnessed a wide attendance of faculty members and students, as everyone gathered to honor this great occasion.
The celebration was organized under the patronage of the President of Kirkuk University, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Muhyiddin, who emphasized in his speech the importance of this religious occasion in promoting human values and moral principles among students. In his speech, he reviewed the noble biography of the Prophet, pointing to his great role in spreading the values of truth and justice, and the importance of following his teachings in daily life.
The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, presented by a student from the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education. Voices rose in recitation of the blessed verses that mention the attributes of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and enhance the values of tolerance and love. The celebration included the presentation of a group of praises to the Prophet performed by the college students in cooperation with the Media and Government Communications Division, as the atmosphere was decorated with their sweet voices singing praises to the Noble Messenger.
A special segment was organized for a competition in the Prophet’s biography, as questions were asked about the life of the Prophet and his teachings, which created an atmosphere of honorable competition among the participants.
These celebrations come within the framework of the college’s efforts to enhance the religious spirit among students and affiliates, and raise awareness about the noble values called for by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The celebration also enhances cooperation and love among members of the academic community, which adds a spirit of familiarity and brotherhood among the university in general.
At the end of the celebration, everyone expressed their joy and happiness in participating in this occasion, which develops a sense of belonging and pride in their history and religious principles.
