A doctoral thesis discussing the heritage contents in the poetry of the Brotherhood of the Abbasid era

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the doctoral thesis entitled (Heritage Contents in the Poetry of the Brotherhood of the Abbasid era) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language by the student Shahd Jassim Ali and in the college hall on 9/8/2024.

The research dealt with the concept of heritage and Brotherhood through studying the literary, historical and social contents in the heritage of the Brotherhood. These heritage contents represented the inherited intellectual and cultural values ​​that were manifested through the poetry of the Brotherhood between poets and friends through congratulations, reproach, condolences and debates. The language of the poets was easy and simple, including interrogative, vocative, negative, prohibitive, repetition and simile forms through various simple and complex meters.
