Master's thesis discusses the views of the Baghdadis in directing the meanings of words

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the master's thesis entitled (The impact of the views of the Baghdadis in directing the meanings of words according to Abu Hayyan in Al-Bahr Al-Muhit) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language for the student Hassan Hussein Ahmed and in the college hall on 8-22-2024.

The study aimed to show Abu Hayyan's influence by the scholars of the Baghdadi school and taking from them in directing the meanings of words, and the study showed that Abu Hayyan had a great interest in the views of linguists and interpreters who mixed between the Basri and Kufi schools or what is called the Baghdadi school.
