Master's thesis discusses the impact of cultural systems on literary texts and social values

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, the master's thesis entitled (Cultural Studies in the Achievement of the Critic Abdul Azim Al-Sultani) was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language by the student Maryam Muhammad Khalaf and in the college hall on 8/25/2024.

The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of latent culture in literary texts and in social fields in general through a diverse and profound achievement of a contemporary Iraqi critic (Abdul Azim Rahif Al-Sultani). The study showed the impact of the connotations generated by the formal structures of people in different societies and the impact of the diversity of cultures in one society on individuals, as well as the impact of inherited cultural systems in the subconscious stock across generations. It called for the need to question all literary, social and political texts, and to reveal and correct unhealthy implicit cultural systems.

The discussion committee consisted of the teaching staff. .
