A Master's Thesis Discusses Linguistic Criticism in Ibn Barri's Book "Al-Tanbih wa'l-Idah

Under the patronage and attendance of Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, Dean of the College of Education for the Humanities, a master's thesis entitled "Linguistic Criticism in Ibn Barri's Book "Al-Tanbih wa'l-Idah 'amma Waqa'a fi al-Sihah" (582 AH)" was discussed in the Department of Arabic Language by student Fadhel Abdul Karim Jumaa in the college hall on March 3, 2025. The study aimed to shed light on the critical approach adopted by Ibn Barri in his book, through his comments and additions to Al-Jawhari's "Mu'jam Al-Sihah." The study also highlighted Ibn Barri's linguistic personality in analyzing linguistic vocabulary at the phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels.
