A Master's Thesis Discusses the Civilizational Contributions of Scholars Visiting Medina

Under the patronage and attendance of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Farhad Aziz Mohiuddin, a master's thesis entitled "Civilizational Contributions of Scholars Visiting Medina through the Book "Siyar A'lam al-Nubala" by al-Dhahabi (d. 748 AH/1347 AD)" was discussed in the History Department. The thesis, presented by student Shihab Ahmed Ghafil, was held in the college hall on February 24, 2025.

The thesis addressed the civilizational and scientific contributions of scholars visiting Medina during the period of Islamic history, from the first to the seventh century AH. The student highlighted the civilizational efforts made by scholars during their visits and stays in the city, as well as in various academic courses, writings, and teaching, which focused on acquiring knowledge from various other disciplines.
