The division's tasks are as follows:
1- The Computer Division works to manage and follow up the work of the college’s computer network and its related servers and other devices that support the colleges’ network, and perform the necessary periodic maintenance and settings for these devices if necessary.
2- Supervising the management of the work and maintenance of the surveillance system in colleges through internal and external cameras.
3- Supervising the college’s network protection system and making all necessary settings to ensure the college’s network runs efficiently and quickly.
4- Ensuring that all computer servers and the Internet operate around the clock, including working outside official working hours and vacation days if necessary, and coordinating and working with the relevant companies to make the necessary modifications that cannot be done during official working hours.
5- Direct technical supervision of all work on updating the college network or installing any new computer hardware or software.
6- Providing technical consultations to the college administration regarding any projects related to computerizing work in the college or developing the infrastructure of the college’s internal wired and wireless computer network or e-learning systems.
7- Coordinating with the various college departments to determine their various needs for computers, printers, data show devices, and other computer-related devices, and ensuring that all available devices are exploited and redistributed if necessary.
8- Coordinating with the specialized companies to purchase the college’s necessary computers and related accessories or any administrative or educational programs or computer systems, setting technical specifications and studying the submitted offers, as well as supervising their receipt and ensuring that they conform to the required specifications and work well.
9- Follow up on wired and wireless computer network and hardware malfunctions.
10- Following up on maintenance contracts and agreements concluded with relevant companies, as well as following up on maintenance of computers and their related accessories externally.
