The Department of Primary School Teachers was established in 2024. The department aims to achieve development and excellence in providing distinguished scientific and educational services in various subjects at the bachelor's level and in the fields of academic teaching, scientific research, and local community service. It grants a bachelor's degree in the primary stage specialization to grant the graduate the status of an academic university teacher. The department seeks to graduate competent university teachers and academics who work to raise the level of academic education in schools. And to contribute to scientific activities such as holding seminars and conferences in the department and supporting cultural, scientific, social, and human life in the country.

Achieving leadership in rehabilitating and qualifying distinguished teaching staff for the first grades of the primary stage according to the best international programs in the field of preparing first-grade teachers in a manner that is consistent with the requirements of the era.
Department objectives:
1. Preparing qualified cadres of teachers to work in teaching in the primary stage for the first grades in primary schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
2. Raising the qualitative level in preparing cadres with a deep qualitative quantity based on modern educational theories.
3. Focusing on the practical aspect and providing advisory services in the field of learning for specialists in the primary grades for educational and social bodies that provide services to students at this stage, whether governmental or private.
4. Holding specialized training courses for workers in the field of education independently or in cooperation with various sectors.
5. Conducting specialized research and studies in the field of education for the primary stage, especially the first grades.
