Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Ali, and organized by the Continuing Education Division, the Lecturer Mebast Hajar Hamad delivered a specialized scientific lecture for professors today. The lecture addressed the mechanisms of writing a scientific research paper according to the approved academic standards and criteria, as part of activities aimed at developing the research skills of the teaching staff.
The lecture included several important topics, among them:
First: The concept of a research paper and its academic importance.
Secondly: Steps to properly prepare a research paper.
Third: Writing the abstract, introduction, research methodology, results, and discussion.
Fourth: Rules for scientific documentation and the use of references.
Fifth: How to avoid common mistakes to ensure the paper's acceptance in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
The lecture witnessed significant interaction from the college professors, who enriched the session with scientific discussions and valuable contributions, emphasizing the importance of organizing such scientific events to support their research endeavors.
