The College of Basic Education organized a scientific seminar in cooperation with the Human Rights Commission - Kirkuk Office. The seminar, titled "Human Rights: Origins and Goals," aimed to shed light on the principles of human rights and their importance in building a cohesive and aware society. The seminar was attended by several faculty members and interested students, and it included discussions on the origins of the concept of human rights and the basic goals that the Human Rights Commission seeks to achieve. The seminar also discussed the role of educational institutions in promoting a culture of human rights and activating cooperation mechanisms between universities and the commission to achieve these goals. At the end of the seminar, a set of recommendations was presented, emphasizing the need to integrate human rights culture into educational curricula and encourage student activities aimed at enhancing community awareness.
