The College of Basic Education, Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a symposium on National Intolerance and its effects on society. The lecture was presented by Dr. Walaa Hashim Muhammad and assistant lecturer Muhammad Ahmed Muhammad in Arabic and Kurdish.The symposium included an in-depth look at the effects of nationalism on various aspects of social and cultural life in society. The symposium included critical approaches and lively discussions on effective ways to combat this harmful phenomenon and promote the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among members of society, as national intolerance can lead to division and fragmentation of society and hinder social and economic progress and development. Understanding the effects of national intolerance and its impact on societies contributes to promoting peaceful awareness among different cultures, races, and religions.
