The College of Arts Hosts an Awareness Festival on Cyberbullying

The Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, organized an awareness festival on cyberbullying.

The festival included educational lectures on the topic, introducing the concept of cyberbullying as a process of threatening to publish personal and sensitive images, videos, or information. Additionally, a play was performed by a number of students from the Department of History.

The goal of the festival was to raise awareness about the dangers of cyberbullying, emphasize the importance of contacting the relevant security authorities if anyone falls victim to cyberbullying, and explain the laws surrounding this issue to educate students on this matter.

The festival also featured a book exhibition, which was inaugurated by the Dean of the College, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Dr. Mustafa Mohsen, and faculty members of the department. The play was supervised by Dr. Asmaa Abdul Karim and directed by Assistant Lecturer Yaseen Rashid.
