The College of Arts was established in the academic year (2014-2015), and at the beginning of its establishment it included the departments of Arabic Language and History. The Department of Media was created in the academic year (2015-2016), and the Department of Applied Geography was created in the academic year (2017-2018). The college received At the beginning of its establishment, there were approximately (372) male and female students within the central admission, in addition to hosting (43) male and female students from other Iraqi universities.

- Prof. Dr. Sakar Khalaf Awad - Associate Dean for Academic Affairs (seated on the left)
- Prof. Dr. Sinan Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahim - Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs (seated on the right)
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Kweistan Najm Al-Deen Enja - Head of the Arabic Language Department (first standing on the right)
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Ala' Jamal Fariq - Head of the Media Department (second standing on the right)
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mohsen Abdullah - Head of the History Department (second standing on the left)

Vision Mission and Objectives
The College of Arts aspires to assume a leading scientific position to be higher than anything that may affect the aspirations of all its scientific departments, to reach a lofty knowledge edifice. It aspires to achieve the goals of distinguished university education, by spreading the culture of proficiency and mastery, and achieving this through continuous modernization of programs and systems. Educational and academic curricula, to keep pace with global development, as well as developing and improving the performance of the college administration and its scientific departments, and communicating with civil society, with the aim of preparing graduates capable of competing in a changing world and a labor market with specific needs, as well as spreading and consolidating the authentic values of society and improving the quality of life and human behavior. Respect for others, and recognition of human rights to knowledge, thought and belief.
