The College of Arts Celebrates the International Day of the Arabic Language

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enjeh, the College of Arts / Department of Arabic Language, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Division, the General Directorate of Cultural Relations / Kirkuk Culture and Arts Palace, and the Union of Writers and Poets of Kirkuk, held a cultural festival on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to mark the International Day of the Arabic Language. The event was titled (Arabic: The Language of Al-Dhad and Miracles).

The festival included a speech by the Dean on this occasion, in addition to a scientific seminar, poetry recitations by faculty members and students from the department, musical performances, an exhibition of paintings, and a theatrical play titled (The Language of Al-Dhad Unites Us), supervised and directed by Dr. Koyistan Najm Al-Deen Enjeh, Head of the Arabic Language Department. The event also featured a display of handicrafts, a book fair, a bazaar, the distribution of gifts to outstanding students, and the presentation of certificates of appreciation.
