A Faculty Member of the College of Arts Obtains a PhD Degree

Azad Majeed Mohammed, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, has earned his PhD for his dissertation titled "Jalal Talabani's Diplomatic Activity During the Period 2003-2013." The defense took place at the College of History, University of Sulaimani, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

The dissertation discussed a specific historical period (2003-2013), starting with the fall of the former Iraqi government and the formation of the new Iraqi government, and ending with President Jalal Talabani’s illness and his withdrawal from the political scene.

The Dean of the College of Arts, Dr. Omer Najm Al_deen Enja, extended his congratulations to Azad Majeed Mohammed for obtaining his PhD Degree, wishing him continued success and further achievements in service of academic and scientific progress.
