Faculty Member from the College of Arts Participates in a Master's Thesis Defense at the College of Education for Human Sciences

Asst. Prof. Dr. Othman Fadhil Abbas, a faculty member at the College of Arts, participated in the defense of a Master’s thesis titled "The Civilizational Contributions of Yemeni Scholars as Presented in Al-Dhahabi's Siyar A'lam al-Nubala' (d. 748 AH / 1347 AD)" at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Kirkuk.

The thesis provided an analytical study of the contributions made by Yemeni scholars across various fields of Islamic civilization, as documented by Imam Al-Dhahabi in his work Siyar A'lam al-Nubala'. It examined their scientific and intellectual impact on authorship, teaching, and the transmission of knowledge, while highlighting their significant standing within the intellectual and scholarly map of the Islamic world.
