Head of Geography Department Participates in Master's Thesis Defense Committee

Assistant Professor Dr. Burkan Saeed Othman, Head of the Department of Applied Geography, participated in the master's thesis defense committee for student Mays Aman Hadi, titled (A Hydrological and Sedimentary Study of the Khassa Dam Lake Northeast of Kirkuk - Iraq) in the Department of Applied Geology at the College of Science, University of Kirkuk.

The thesis included a study of the Khassa Dam Lake as a vital water source to meet the drinking and irrigation needs of Kirkuk city and its surroundings, in addition to its role in promoting tourism and controlling water flow in the region.

The thesis was approved with a passing grade
