Dean of the College of Arts Chairs a Committee and Participates with a Research Paper in an International Conference in Karbala

On February 8, 2025, the Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, participated with a scientific paper at an international conference organized by the Hussayniya Shrine in collaboration with the University of Karbala. Additionally, he chaired a committee during the conference.

The paper, titled "The Reference Discourse and Its Impact on Society... The Sermon of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) as a Model," highlighted the importance and impact of discourse in society in both its positive and negative aspects. The paper emphasized that the purpose of discourse is to convey a message and the essence of the subject to others in a way that influences and persuades them to adhere to, implement, and follow the guidance, laws, regulations, and instructions intended by the speaker.

The goal of the paper was to ensure that the content of the message and discourse is expressed in the best terms, aligning with the interests of the society's members, to organize them and promote mutual affection, cooperation, and love. The paper cites the Quranic verse (Al-Baqarah 83) “And speak to people good [words],” encouraging kindness and compassion. It also touches on the importance of the reference discourse, which serves as a protector and guide for the community, conveying the divine rulings of Allah.
