College of Arts Organizes a Seminar on Reducing Violence Against Children

Under the sponsorship of the President of Kirkuk University, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enja, the College of Arts, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning and the Unit for Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, organized a scientific seminar titled "Hidden Violence... Apparent Pain: How Can We Break the Cycle of Violence Against Children and Protect Their Future?"

The seminar included a lecture from the Dean, who discussed government legislations and procedures to reduce violence against children, emphasizing the importance of providing a safe environment for raising children to achieve the best emotional and physical development for their lives.

The seminar aimed to raise cultural and societal awareness on this issue, focusing on developing a special strategy for children and following scientific methods to break the cycle of violence against them, ensuring the growth of a healthy generation, both psychologically and physically. The lecture was presented by Asst. Lecturer Alaa Abdul Hassan Jolan.
