The Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Omer Najm Al-Deen Enjeh, participated on Saturday (November 2, 2024) in the international scientific workshop titled "Artificial Intelligence Between Scientific Research and Creativity."
The workshop covered important topics on the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing scientific research and supporting creativity across various fields.
In his speech during the workshop, the dean stated that artificial intelligence has become a crucial topic for researchers and academics, as it represents a modern industrial revolution in technology, with software and algorithms that mimic human capabilities in scientific research. AI can analyze data accurately and produce results based on available rules and instructions.
He emphasized that this enhances research quality and precise content understanding, aiming to provide better community services in the best way possible with minimal effort and time. This applies to fields such as medicine, engineering, and various sciences, aligning with Islamic principles that advocate for adopting the best practices and discoveries, as expressed in the verse, "So give good tidings to My servants who listen to speech and follow the best of it" (Quran 39:18).
