Dean of the College of Arts Participates in an International Medical Workshop on Breast Cancer

The Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Omer Najm al-Deen Enja, participated in the virtual international medical workshop "Breast Cancer: Early Diagnosis and Modern Surgery in Facing the Challenge" under the slogan "You Are Not Alone."

During his participation, the Dean delivered a speech in which he highlighted that health departments within educational institutions play a positive role in holding diverse meetings to increase awareness and education on such topics, especially concerning women.

He emphasized the urgent need for raising awareness and education on these issues, considering early diagnosis as one of the key methods to combat such diseases, which affect both males and females.

He also pointed out that women, in particular, should be fully aware and undergo regular check-ups, noting that through collaboration with specialists, we can diagnose and reduce the impact of the disease.
