College of Arts Hosts Scientific Workshop on the Role of Government Institutions in Combating Corruption

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk organized a scientific workshop titled "The Role of Government Institutions in Combating Corruption and Achieving Integrity Goals."

During the workshop, Dr. Salah Oraibi, a faculty member from the Department of History, delivered a lecture titled "Combating Financial and Administrative Corruption in Government Institutions to Achieve Integrity and Social Development."

The workshop highlighted the vital importance of anti-corruption efforts carried out by oversight bodies within political and economic systems worldwide. It specifically addressed the Iraqi context, noting that Iraq has established regulatory agencies to confront this phenomenon, which has impacted the societal structure since the foundation of the modern Iraqi state in 1921.
