College of Arts Hosts Scientific Seminar on Arabic Linguistic Security

The College of Arts at the University of Kirkuk hosted a hybrid scientific seminar titled "Arabic Linguistic Security in the Digital Age: From Technical Alienation to Cognitive Empowerment."
The seminar featured speeches and academic interventions led by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omer Najmuddin Inja, alongside several prominent scholars. The presentations included:

The session was moderated by Lect. Dr. Taha Ibrahim Rashid.
The seminar provided a comprehensive analysis of the status of the Arabic language in the digital environment, identifying the obstacles hindering its digitization. It also outlined the requirements for keeping pace with the digital era and proposed suitable solutions in light of current global shifts.
The participants emphasized that the Arabic language faces various challenges that prevent it from fully integrating into the digital age. They noted that its current digital contribution does not reflect its inherent capabilities and unique linguistic features. The seminar concluded that Arabic requires essential informatics tools, the development of high-quality digital content, effective marketing strategies, and the production of advanced software and information technologies to empower its global presence.
