College of Arts Hosts Seminar on the Aesthetics of Dialogue in Poetry

The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, organized a seminar titled “The Aesthetics of Dialogue in Poetry Between the Sender and the Receiver.”

During the seminar, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Inja, delivered a speech addressing the aesthetics of the Arabic language across all its branches, including literature, grammar, rhetoric, and others.

The event also featured a lecture by the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kwistan Najm al-Din Inja, titled “Beauty: Its Concept and Role in Arabic Literature.” She discussed the general concepts of beauty and literature, ranging from the Pre-Islamic era to the modern era, as well as the aesthetics of Arabic literature.

Additionally, Dr. Taha Ibrahim Rashid, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language, delivered a lecture titled “The Aesthetics of Dialogue in Poetry Between the Sender and the Receiver.” He discussed the concept of dialogue and the aspects of beauty in poetry, while also presenting examples from various poems.
