Scientific Symposium at the College of Arts on the Political Process and Democratic Experience

A scientific symposium titled "The Exclusion of Elites from the Political Process and the Democratic Experience" was held at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Omar Najm al-Din Inja, delivered a lecture in which he addressed the political process through which governments make and implement decisions. He discussed how this process is influenced by various factors, such as elections, popular participation, and diverse political forces.

For his part, Mr. Kawa Talabani, a Judicial Investigator at the Kirkuk Investigation Court, delivered a lecture indicating that the democratic experience is the application of this political process within a system where citizens enjoy equal rights in decision-making, thereby ensuring their interests are considered. He emphasized the necessity of involving intellectual elites in decision-making to leverage their political experience and expertise, rather than excluding them from the process.
