Visit of the Department of Media to Kirkuk Satellite Channel

On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the Department of Media at the College of Arts, University of Kirkuk, organized a scientific visit for second, third, and fourth-year students of the Radio and Television branch to the headquarters of Kirkuk Satellite Channel.

Dr. Turki Hassan Najm, the Head of the Department, emphasized that the visit aimed to familiarize students with the various departments and functions of the channel. He pointed out that the students received a detailed explanation from the staff working in the channel’s departments, which broadcast in four languages: Kurdish, Arabic, Turkmen, and Assyrian.

The visit also included a tour of the channel’s news studios, photo and audio editing facilities, and other departments. The students expressed their appreciation for the cooperation and the informative presentations provided by the channel’s management.
