In implementation of the Prime Minister's initiative within the National Tree Planting Day, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Prof. Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan, and under the sponsorship and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammad, the College of Administration and Economics organized a voluntary afforestation campaign within the college gardens, supervised by the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Dr. Tania Qader Abdul Rahman, with the participation of several college staff members.
The campaign involved planting a number of saplings and plants throughout the college corridors and gardens, aiming to expand green spaces and add an aesthetic touch to the campus environment. This contributes to enhancing environmental awareness and fostering a culture of volunteer work among the college staff.
This initiative comes within the framework of the college deanship's keenness to support national and environmental initiatives, and to contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the university campus. Furthermore, it aims to provide a healthy and motivating university environment for students and staff, in line with the University of Kirkuk's directions in promoting social responsibility and consolidating the values of environmental sustainability.
