The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics organized a humanitarian visit to the Oncology Hospital in Kirkuk. This initiative aimed to strengthen the spirit of social solidarity, support inpatients, bring joy to their hearts, and alleviate their suffering.
This humanitarian gesture is part of the activities of the Women's Affairs Unit, which seeks to consolidate the values of cooperation and compassion within and beyond the university community. A group of female faculty members and staff visited the patients, checked on their health conditions, and offered words of support and encouragement, wishing them a speedy recovery.
The visit also included presenting symbolic gifts and basic supplies to the patients as an expression of solidarity and a way to share feelings of hope and optimism. The initiative was warmly welcomed by the patients and their families for its sincere humanitarian sentiments and the moral boost it provided.
The Women's Affairs Unit emphasized that this visit is part of a series of community and humanitarian activities the college is keen to organize, reflecting the belief in the role of academic institutions in serving society and promoting the values of giving and volunteer work.
At the conclusion of the visit, the college delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the hospital administration, medical staff, and nursing teams for their great efforts in caring for patients and providing the best health services, wishing health and wellness to all.
