As part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and instill a culture of volunteerism, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk organized a tree-planting campaign at Al-Yaqout Co-educational Primary School, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammed.

The campaign saw active participation from the college’s staff and students, who effectively contributed to planting numerous saplings throughout the school’s corridors and courtyards. The event was held in a collaborative atmosphere that reflected a spirit of initiative and social responsibility shared by all participants.

This initiative aims to spread the culture of afforestation and environmental care, as well as to support educational institutions by improving their school environment. The campaign received a positive response from the school’s teaching and administrative staff, who expressed their appreciation for the College of Administration and Economics' efforts and its role in supporting environmental activities and community service.
