Workshop on the Role of Technology in Reducing Administrative Corruption

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk organized a workshop titled: "The Role of Technology in Reducing Administrative Corruption," with the participation of a panel of specialists: Assistant Lecturer Kovár Majid, Ms. Yusra Abdul Salam, and Ms. Sawsan Sadoun. The event was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and individuals interested in administrative and technical affairs.

13 4 3113 4 3213 4 33 The workshop addressed the importance of digital transformation in developing the administrative work environment, and its role in enhancing the principles of transparency and integrity, and reducing administrative corruption. This is achieved by reducing routine procedures and relying on electronic systems that contribute to accelerating transaction completion and raising the level of accuracy and efficiency in institutional performance.

13 4 26 13 4 28The workshop also reviewed the role of modern technology in improving the quality of administrative services and combating corruption by strengthening electronic oversight and reducing human intervention in sensitive procedures, as well as discussing the most prominent challenges facing the implementation of digital transformation systems and ways to address them.

13 4 2913 4 30At the conclusion of the workshop, the presenters emphasized the importance of supporting e-governance projects and developing the skills of workers in the administrative field in line with the requirements of technological development, thereby contributing to building a more transparent and efficient work environment within educational and administrative institutions.
