Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kirkuk, Professor Dr. Imran Jamal, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammad, and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Firas Mohammad Shihab, and the Head of the Business Administration Department, Dr. Suzan Abdul Ghani.

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk, within the activities of the Continuing Education Division, organized a scientific and educational workshop entitled "A Nation That Reads... A Nation That Ascends."

The workshop aimed to promote the culture of reading as a fundamental pillar in building the individual and society, highlighting its role in developing intellectual and cognitive awareness, as well as its importance in supporting the educational process and keeping pace with scientific developments.

The workshop included several scientific themes presented by:
Asst. Lect. Ziad Bakr Khader,
Asst. Lect. Senadria Gharib,
And Ms. Sheena Shamal,
where the lecturers addressed the importance of reading in developing mental skills, building a scientific personality, and spreading cultural awareness within the university community.

The workshop witnessed positive interaction from the attendees, including faculty members and students, who contributed to enriching its themes through interventions and discussions, reflecting the university's interest in developing intellectual potential and fostering a continuing education environment.
