The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Kirkuk organized a workshop, held by the Continuing Education Unit in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit, entitled:
“Violence Against Women in Educational Institutions (Schools, Institutes, and Universities).”
The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the risks of violence against women within educational institutions, introduce its forms and psychological and social effects, as well as promote a culture of mutual respect and create a safe educational environment based on equality and justice.
The workshop witnessed notable attendance and interaction from the college students, in addition to the participation of a number of faculty members and staff. It was delivered by:

This workshop comes as part of a series of awareness activities carried out by the college in support of women’s empowerment and the promotion of community awareness within the university campus.
