College of Administration and Economics Commemorates the Victims of the Anfal Crime

The College of Administration and Economics organized a solemn memorial stand to commemorate the victims of the painful Anfal crime, coinciding with the thirty-eighth anniversary of those brutal campaigns that targeted the Kurdish people.

14 4 214 4 4The memorial stand was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Essam Hadi Mohammad, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Firas Mohammad Shihab, alongside a number of faculty members, staff, and a gathering of college students, in an atmosphere of grief and solemnity remembering this human tragedy.

14 4 514 4 6The participants emphasized the importance of consolidating awareness regarding the history of these crimes and ensuring they are never forgotten, as they represent a blatant violation of human values, customs, and international laws. They stressed the necessity of passing this memory to future generations, promoting principles of peaceful coexistence, and rejecting all forms of injustice and oppression.
