College of Dentistry
The College of Dentistry was established at the University of Kirkuk, based on the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research/Studies and Planning office letter No. M3/3774 dated 04/09/2014.
The college is located on Corniche Street next to the Specialized Dental Center and consists of three main buildings. The first building accommodates administrative offices for the Basic Sciences Branch, basic science labs, and labs for dental treatment and manufacturing. A second building includes the deanship, departments, administrative units, and dental clinics. The third building is equipped with classrooms designed for educational purposes.
COLLEGE BRANCHES
The college currently has two scientific branches: the Basic Sciences Branch and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Branch, which includes the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit, Conservative Dentistry unit, Dental Manufacturing unit, and Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Prevention unit, all operating within the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Branch. Further expansion to encompass additional branches is contemplated in the foreseeable future, contingent upon the availability of specialized teaching staff.

In the Basic Sciences Branch, educational laboratories are established to facilitate the instruction of students in the foundational principles of medical sciences, encompassing areas such as Medical Chemistry, Medical Physics, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Histology, Computer Science, and other pertinent subjects.
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Branch includes clinics specialized in oral surgery, conservative dentistry, dental manufacturing, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and preventive dentistry, which meets the syllabus requirements for students in the fourth and fifth years of study. These clinics have a total of eighty fully equipped dental chairs distributed across all units ensuring comprehensive and proficient dental care.
