The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology participates in the regular meeting of the deans of the Colleges of Information Technology and Computer Science in Iraqi universities.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jalak Shakir, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Kirkuk, participated in the regular meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Information Technology and Computer Science in Iraqi universities, which was held at the University of Information Technology and Communications / Informatics Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The meeting witnessed wide and distinguished attendance by the deans of colleges specialized in information technology and computer science from various Iraqi universities. The attendees discussed a number of strategic topics related to enhancing the quality of higher education, developing curricula, encouraging scientific research, and activating mechanisms for joint cooperation between colleges. This participation comes as a confirmation of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Kirkuk's commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at developing the higher education sector and keeping pace with global scientific and technological developments. At the conclusion of the meeting, a letter of thanks and appreciation was presented by the President of the University of Information Technology and Communications to the participants, in recognition of their valuable efforts and active contributions to the success of the meeting's activities and the enhancement of academic cooperation between Iraqi universities.
