The establishment of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology was driven by the urgent need to provide state institutions and the labor market with professionals capable of utilizing modern technologies and software in an era where no sector, public or private, can operate without them.

The birth of this college is a significant achievement for the city of Kirkuk and Iraq as a whole. Since the 2020-2021 academic year, we have expanded into postgraduate studies, opening vast horizons for scientific research and international collaboration through MoUs and joint supervision with global universities.

Looking ahead, the college plans to expand into specialized fields such as Information Security (Cybersecurity) and Multimedia, ensuring our students remain at the forefront of the ever-evolving tech world.
