Establishment and Mission
The department was established on 1/9/2020 in response to the rapid growth in software and its applications. The department seeks to qualify graduates to work in the public and private sectors and to supply laboratories with the latest curricula to ensure a solid research environment.
Admission: The department accepts high school graduates from both the Biological and Applied Science branches.

To provide services to the university and society in the field of software industry, maintenance, and development in accordance with approved international standards.
Mission
Teaching scientific fundamentals and techniques for building and maintaining software systems used in smart systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and data retrieval.

- Providing students with the skills to resolve software problems and interact with global training programs.
- Consolidating the theoretical and practical concepts necessary for managing large-scale software projects.

After a study period of 4 years, graduates are awarded a B.Sc. in Software.
